Rendered in copper and burnt orange against black, ElectroCycle I is the warmest machine in the series — a bicycle taken apart and rebuilt as something that could never be ridden: coiled pipework, valves, drums and gearing, drawn with the patience of a patent illustration.

The edition

Each size is its own edition of 25 — seventy-five pieces in total, and never more.

Every piece is signed and numbered by the artist and ships with a certificate of authenticity recording its number, size, finish and date of production. When an edition is complete it closes permanently — the work is never reprinted, reissued, or released at another size or in another format.

Price rises as each edition sells.

Materials

Aluminium — archival dye-sublimation print on ChromaLuxe aluminium, float-mounted on a concealed frame and ready to hang. The black ground and metallic warmth of this work are particularly suited to the panel, which holds depth that paper cannot.

Glass — printed behind glass for exceptional depth and a mirror-smooth finish. The premium presentation, available at 60 and 90 cm.

The 120 × 120 cm size is produced on aluminium only. At this scale a glass panel cannot be crated and shipped safely, and I would rather not offer something I could not deliver intact.
